FirstBuzz Privacy Policy

FirstBuzz is made by Joe and Erika. This policy explains how the FirstBuzz app handles information.

The short version

FirstBuzz does not collect any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking.

Guests and the local network

Guests join a game from their phone's web browser over the host's local Wi-Fi or Personal Hotspot. The page guests use is served by the host's own device. Guest names and buzz-ins stay on the host's device and the local network. They are never sent to us or to any server.

Game data

Games, scores and settings are stored only on the host's device. We have no access to them. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Purchases

The FirstBuzz Host Kit is a one-time in-app purchase with Family Sharing. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of payment information is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Children

FirstBuzz does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
